Hi again Bryce Worlders. Hope you're all up for another and final feature at DigiSprawl

The concluding 4th artist feature, Horo, was published earlier today (Aust time). Come check out the work of a highly influential Bryce artist and read his thoughts on the quirky, endearing, and awkwardly elegant program, how he got started with it, and the programs troubling future.

Dusk at the Lake

Previous features:

03: Michael Frank
02: David Brinnen
O1: Santosky

I did say this was the final of the series, but there is always the possibility I might run another or do them on occasion. I think I've focussed enough on the program itself and it is time to put more focus on the work of the artist's themselves. Any ideas and suggestions are very welcome. Please share the artist features in your own blogs and social networking. I want to do my part to make sure DAZ 3D are well aware that people are still very enthusiastic about the program.

Thanks to all those that have checked out the features (even just one - go do the others now o_o). Double thanks to anyone that has actually shared these on.
The third in a series of four Bryce artist articles features the amazing work of Michael Frank :iconmichaelf77: has gone up on DigiSprawl [link]. He shares his thoughts on the program - how he works with it, why he loves it, and its apparent slow drift into extinction.

Greetings Bryce-Worlders and thanks to the admin for considering my blog submission.

There is a lot more to Bryce than many would guess at first sight. Contrary to the belief of many, Bryce is a program with a great depth and unique user experience. Like many 3D programs it is easy enough to get started, but takes serious dedication to master. This could well be more so the case with Bryce, with its deceptively simple user interface, than with other similar programs. Bryce often enthrals those that stay long enough to fall under its spell, as will be attested to time and again by those within the relatively small but vibrant community.

While I am not a user of Bryce, more due to time constraints than inclination, I have become very fond of the eccentric and challenging program, its dedicated practitioners, and the huge diversity of high quality work they produce.

This is the basic premise of my recent series of interviews and artist features at DigiSprawl for which I was lucky enough to correspond with some of Bryce’s best and brightest.

The first article featured the adventurous surreal and abstract works of :iconsantosky: [link] - I assume everyone here is familiar with the guy ;)

The recently released second article features an interview with :icondavidbrinnen: [link]

Next to come in the Bryce series: :iconmichaelf77: followed by Horo, an artist who needs no introduction within the Bryce-o-sphere.

Thanks for having me and hope to see you all at DigiSprawl,
:iconjim-zombie:
